Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Shift, Weekend, Day, Night
Salary: $30.60 Hourly, for 40 Hours per week.
Skill Requirements
Education:
- Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.):
- Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification, Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
Major Work Area:
- Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul.
Area of Specialization:
- Start-up and testing, troubleshooting.
Type of Industry/Work Setting Experience:
- Food and beverage processing.
Type of Machinery or Equipment:
- Conveyors, Hoists and other lifting devices, Grinders, Heat exchangers, Power tools, Fans and blowers, Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, Power transmission systems, High speed packaging equipment.
Specific Skills:
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, repair or replace defective machinery parts, perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
Additional Skills:
- Coach and instruct apprentices, read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
